Gentleness can be viewed as a refinement of character, in difficult time, a thoughtful approach can serve as a model for others, when one thinks only of oneself, and not also of others, then it is easy to hurt others unintentionally. http://encyclopedia.thefreedictionary.com
Soft and sweet like a butterfly; that cannot help but be gentle. The touch of a feather on your shoulder in the quiet morning sun; this is gentleness. The precious holding of a child in your arms; this is gentleness.

(noun) the trait of being willing to give your money or time www.elook.org
Generosity happens when I tell the truth about who I am and what is going on right now rather than holding on to my perceived control over what I cannot control. It is when I stop controlling what I really can’t control anyway. It’s when I stop arguing and I forgive. It’s when I stop resisting and I allow life to flow through me. It is when I share my money and my art and everything I have with others—just sharing—that is generosity!

The Gardener goes forth in faith to sow his seeds. He has learned that as he sows, so shall he reap; that the law works for all alike. We must accustom ourselves to the concept of the impersonalness of the law, the availability of the law, and the mechanical accuracy of the law. If we can conceive only a little good, that is as much as we can experience.—Ernest Holmes
I am the gardener of my life. I till the soil by doing mental housekeeping and cleaning out the cobwebs of my mind. I choose carefully the seeds that I plant so that I can have the results that I want. I water my plants with plenty of gratitude and kindness. I let go and I allow my garden to grow. When the time comes, I harvest my crop. Then I begin again.

God wills us to have everything. As we express life, we fulfill God’s law of abundance, but we do this only as we realize that there is good enough, to go around—only, as we know that all of God’s gifts are given as freely and fully as the air and the sunshine… alike to all. ---Ernest Holmes
I see myself in fulfillment. I am perfect and complete right now. I am doing the work that I love with people that I love and who love me. I am well compensated for what I do. I am getting the results I want and these results are for the greatest benefit for myself and others., I accept my life the way it is and I love myself the way I am right now. I accept fulfillment at this moment. I am fulfilled.

I understand all people and this understanding is reflected back to me from all. I give friendship and therefore I have friends. I help, therefore I am helped. I uplift therefore I am uplifted. I am now surrounded by all love, all friendship, all companionship, all health, all happiness, all success.—Ernest Holmes
In life, people come and go. Some are my friends for a short while and others are long term friends. I can make the decision to always be a friend to myself and to keep all of my friends in my heart forever. Friendship is a quality that I cultivate.

The relationship between the individual and the Universal Mind is one of reflection. That is, what we image for ourselves, It images for us. Then it follows that the very law which created bondage could as easily create freedom. The Divine intends freedom for us but the very fact that we have creative thought, and that we are real individuals, presupposes the use of our creativeness in more than one way.—Ernest Holmes
When all of the extra things are out of the way; that is when I have freedom. Freedom is when my mind is clear and I really know what I want. I am free to choose for my self because there are no old, self limiting beliefs in my mind; old voices telling me that I am not good enough, smart enough, big enough pretty enough, talented enough to really have what I want. I am now free and clear. I am strong, I am intelligent. I have the faith of God in my heart. God wants me to have freedom so I choose to have it right here and right now. I choose to be free, healthy wealthy and wise. I choose Love. I have freedom of choice. I accept my right to vote.

Spiritual experience is a fact. Spirituality may be defined as an atmosphere of good, the realization of God. It cannot—and does not—borrow its light from another, no matter how great or noble that other may be. It springs from within, coming from that never-failing fountain of life, which quenches every thirst, whose Source is in eternity; the well-spring of self-existence. It is a revelation of the self to the self putting one back on the track of his own self-dependence on Spirit, his own at-one-ment with Reality.—Ernest Holmes

The Truth will out; the Spirit will make Itself known. Happy are we if we see these things which, from the foundation of the human race, have been longed for by all aspiring souls.—Ernest Holmes
All of my work is based on thoughts of Love and Peace. I like to stay in touch with my roots. I have made a commitment to this. I have made a commitment to a foundation of integrity.

We realize that since our understanding is not yet complete, it is legitimate to use all methods which will help troubled humanity, but we do look forward to the day when Truth alone will answer every need! --Ernest Holmes
I am noticing that when I really listen, follow my guidance and move forward with my next step, my energy flows and feels good and healing.

…forgiveness is eternal and ever available. What a load is dropped from the shoulders of personal responsibility when we realize that the Eternal Mind holds naught against anyone!
Forgiveness implies that there is something to forgive—like there is some sin committed. When I am angry and I want to blame someone, I am so grateful for the tool of forgiveness. If I can change my thinking enough to consider forgiveness, then I am on my way to peace of mind. I am closer to being able to love unconditionally.

To concentrate means to bring to a center, and in Mental Science it means focusing the mental attention on some definite and desired thought, image, idea or thing. –Ernest Holmes
I work on lots of different projects, but sometimes I’ll need to finish something or get the job done so I will focus on one chunk at a time until everything comes together in completion. When I get quiet and still, then I can focus my mind and feel complete within myself. I have inner focus and outer focus.

Most of us seek the cause in the effect and unknowingly put the cart before the horse, not realizing that the flower is already in the seed, and that effects must follow causes. There can be no true alliance apart from life and no good apart from a unity with the Whole.—Ernest Holmes
I like to think of my life as a garden that I take care of. I plant seeds, I pull weeds, and I water each flower with loving care. It’s similar to having new ideas, letting go of old patterns and caring about what happens.

The intelligence by and through which we perceive that there is a Spiritual Presence and an Infinite Mind in the Universe, constitutes our receptivity to It, and decides Its flow through us.
I let go of resistance and I go with the flow of energy. That’s how I move through life and make good things happen.

In my physical body there is only room for perfection, because that thought which is sustaining and nourishing my body is aware only of perfection, nothing can come into being except from the One Creative Mind, and nothing can flourish unless there is something to nourish it. Accordingly, I know that my thought does not sustain any false growth, either consciously or unconsciously originated. –Ernest Holmes
I practice right thinking, for example, I think about abundance, prosperity, joy, love, good health, wisdom, preparedness. With this kind of thinking, I flourish and grow, like a beautiful flower.

(adjective) extended meanings, capable of change; “a flexible character”; “flexible schedules”
I am working on goals for things I want. I want certain solutions and I am pursuing, but the world does not always flow the way I think it should toward the goal I have in mind. So I have learned to be flexible, to listen to my guidance, to bend without breaking and to find ways that work for all concerned.

With good-natured flexibility, free your thought from any sense of anxiety or strain, or indecision, or deep-seated worry and concern, knowing that you have only to keep your thought steady and clear, fixed upon the potential perfection of the universe in which we live. –Ernest Holmes
I practice yoga everyday to maintain health and flexibility in my body. I practice meditation to maintain health and flexibility in my mind.
