There are so many things in life to think about—people, places, things; jobs to do, places to go, all of the stuff on the news—it can be frightening, stressful, nerve wracking. But to practice nonattachment is to know that each event will pass; it’s all temporary, and that none of it is good or bad, it just is. If I listen to my heart or to the still small voice; that is what is real.
