PERSEVERANCE

I never give up!  I love being an artist and doing art, making things and sharing them with others.  I work at marketing my art by asking for shows, applying for grants.  I sell my art.  I exhibit the work.  This is exciting.  I also deal with rejection every day, because I do not always get the response I want, and yet I keep on keeping on. I do possess the quality of perseverance.

PERFECTION

Since the divine must hold us as some part of Its eternal perfection, we are fulfilling our destiny when we think of ourselves as already Divine and perfect.  To contemplate that divine Life which is at the very center of everyman’s life—this is the very essence of mental healing.

Perfection is the way life is and the way life is not.  There is nothing wrong because life is always the perfect outworking of the Law of the Universe.  If I practice being nonjudgmental, then I can accept that all is Perfect.

PEACE

This Original Life is Infinite.  It is good.  It is filled with peace.  It is of the essence of purity.  It is the ultimate of intelligence.  It is power.  It is Law.  It is Life.  It is in us.  In that inner sanctuary of our own nature, hidden perhaps from objective gaze, “nestles the seed, perfection.”

The peace, the stillness, the emptiness is all I really want.  I do not always know this, because the gifts of the world are all so wonderful, I want it all!  But without the Peace of Goddess, the wonders of the world are no fun at all!

PATTERN

We are immersed in an Infinite Creative Medium which, because of Its Nature, must create after the pattern our thought gives It.  Jesus understood this, and in a few simple words laid down the law of life; “It is done unto you AS you believe.”  --Ernest Holmes

My life becomes better and better as I release old negative patterns and replace them with positive attitudes like appreciation and gratitude

PATIENCE

Today, I trust God to reveal to me whatever it is that I need.  I know that this very present moment contains everything that I have always wanted.  Each and every person I meet today is part of God’s plan for me.  So, therefore, I am patient, knowing that all is well.

PATHWAY

The Universe is impersonal.  It gives alike to all.  It is no respecter of persons.  It values each alike.  Its nature is to impart, ours to receive.  When we stand in the light we cast a shadow across the pathway of our own experience.  Emerson advises that we get our bloated nothingness out of the way of the divine circuits.  –Ernest Holmes

Realizing that I am on my own pathway, unique to me, and that I can listen to the guidance of this pathway, makes life much simpler.

I have a passion for making art.  I have a passion for making the right and perfect art for me to make.  There is one unique expression of my own art which is free and individual and which comes out of my own divine center of creativity.  I am passionate about expressing it.
