REWARD

The person who can throw himself with a complete abandon into that Limitless Sea of Receptivity, having cut loose from all apparent moorings, is the one who will always receive the greatest reward. –Ernest Holmes

The reward for everything I do is in the present moment. It is in the doing and in the peace I feel in pushing through the fear and allowing my worthiness.

REVEAL

As an artist, I reveal my truth in the form of my art quilts. I reveal and I express with color and fabric.

RESULT

Nature seems to await our comprehension of her and, since she is governed by immutable laws—the ignorance of which excuses no man from their effects—the bondage of humanity must be a result of our ignorance of the true nature of Reality. –Ernest Holmes

To get a good result I must steer clear of distractions and keep moving in the direction of my desire.

RESTORE

In healing the blind men, Jesus asked them if they believed that he was able to restore their vision, and upon their acceptance of his ability to do so, he said, “According to your faith be it unto you.” --Ernest Holmes

I restore my focus and my energy by practicing deep breathing and good posture.

REST

Rest permeates my mind and body with its healing presence. I do not try to make anything happen, I accept restful sleep. –Ernest Holmes

I take little breaks from work and get some rest, then my work is much more efficient and effective.

RESPONSIBILITY

…if our thought is creative and if we have selectivity—that is, volition and choice—and if we are unfolding to a discovery of our true nature, which must already be perfect, then the obligation and responsibility of this nature could impose freedom or bondage upon us temporarily, but our bondage cannot be real from the standpoint of the Absolute.--Ernest Holmes

I choose my own response to life. If I find myself responding with a negative judgment about someone, then I can change my thinking into something positive. I can take responsibility for my own thinking.

RESPOND
